General Information

In June 2009, my soccer team, Timpview Girls Soccer Club took a trip to Uganda, Africa to help young girls find the courage to start making goals, on the soccer field and in life. Under the umbrella of Goals for Girls and Help International, our team was able to travel to many different orphan homes and boarding schools to teach the girls about soccer and the importance of goal setting. One of the orphan homes we visited was in Lugazi, called Paul and Rose's Orphan Home. The two founders have 5 children of their own and adopted around 20 orphans. Over the past few years, they have worked on building gardens to help ensure the children get fed. The children are now making paper necklaces in order to pay for primary school. We kept in touch with Paul from the orphan home and decided the best way we could help them was to sell their necklaces in the states and send the money back to Lugazi for the children's' education funds.

We're selling the necklaces for $10 each.
100% of the proceeds go to the children at Paul and Rose's Orphan Home.
